I've made 13 orders and no problems with them. Returned items were refound at a reasonable time. But they send me one time by mistake a Warwick Bass (1800?!!). I suppose every one have a bad day.

I've made 3 fairly major purchases from Thomann including a S.P.L. Track One and various studio accessories.I managed to blow the pre-amp section on the S.P.L. (my own fault I think) dropped them an e-mail and 1 week later got a reply asking that I return the product via courier pick-up for repair.I had the unit back in less than 2 weeks ,properly repaired and at no additional cost.I think their prices and service are great and would'nt hesitate to use them again.Very good.

Hmm! I've just been reading these reviews and I wonder how manyare bona fide and not just worried music shop owners trying to stave off this FAIR competition! I've ordered a lot from Thomann and have always been very satisfied by price, products and aftersales. In fact, just bought a HB 1335CH (semihollow guitar) which was delivered yesterday. Beautiful guitar (for the price!)but suffering from bad string buzz. Called Thomann who said they'd pay for UPS back to them if I choose. Not bad, eh?

i have quite a lot of stuff from Thomann. Ive had it with them now though. They send the wrong stuff and Ive even waited 4 months for something to be in stock with promised delivery dates that keep being extended. If you want to send it back it costs alot more that it costs them and you also loose out via the credit card exchange rates. Not worth the hassle. Pants

Warning to all buyers do not buy from Thomann they completely riped me off. They didn't deliver my items because they couldn't write the address out correctly. Then it took me over a month to get a refund on something that I never recieved. They said they only refund on special days. Their staff are rude and unhelpful. So be warned don't go there! It may seem like a good deal getting something a bit cheaper but it isn't worth the stress of dealing with a company like this.

WARNING TO UK BUYERS :- Firstly I am told by UK service dept. for Digitech that guarantee's are not valid here in the UK on imported items? Also psu's are all EURO Pin only. Thomann SHOULD WARN BUYERS BUT THEY DO NOT!

I had problems with ordering as i requested english version of cubase 4and german version was being ordered which i found out luckily over the phone I had to provide ID to purchase which was a chore The only good thing was the price I got cubase 4 delivered in extremely poor condition the box had been dropped and the box had torn. The manuals were creased from external damage. When you buy new you expect new I won't buy from them again

On 6 Jan I ordered a Korg Ca30 tuner, banjo strings and plectrums. On 8 Jan I was informed the order is dispatched. On 22 Jan - still nothing. To get a reply from them using email takes 3-5 days; Don't even attempt to phone! So basically they say that I have to phone DHL, but they have supppied the wrong number and information. I have now tried to fax them but am guessing they do not have any paper in their fax machine. A complete waste of my time.

I ordered a Tony Iommi?s guitar in Nov which i wanted for a Christmas present. It never arrived never got a note in letter box notting after weeks of sending e mail i did not get a full refund back from them. That was my first and last time to use them never again what a crap service. I will a bit extra and use a UK service

I bought a GNX4 off Thomann. The web site was fine as was the price and delivery. However the product was delivered with a standard plug and not a UK one. I emailed them and attempted to phone (always, line busy) but go no reply. A power socket for the product costs a further £30. If Thomann aim to sell in the UK they need to supply products that are fit for purpose.

I have used this company on at least 10 separate occasions to buy anything from PA systems to saxophones wireless mics etc and have probably spent the best part of £5000.00. I cannot fault the quality, delivery and price of all their items and will continue using them for most of my needs. British service could learn a lot from this retailer!!

Placed order for a Conn 88HKO which are extemely rare in the EU. Initial inquiries dealt with quickly, though not completely, but order process superfast and trombone arrived within 2 days. 5 days ahead of qoute!!!! Great experience - will happily use again

I ordered a new Fender Telecaster from Thomann as a gift for my young son. The guitar was delivered within a few days but it came with permanent scratching to the fingerplate which suggests it was an ex-demonstrator which was not acceptable.They were initially slow responding to email communications. They first offered a 10euro discount which I thought to be unreasonable-they then offered a full refund which I'm waiting to see if they fulfill on. A lot of hassle...

2 weeks to deliver in stock items caused by admin hassle and then an unexplained 4 day delay in despatch. Email correspondance very poor. Many converstions explaining the "urgency" (birtday present) and was promised the items would arrive in time... they didn't. If I spend £100.00 with someone I'd hope for good service. My order was >£1000.00. All they could say was if I dealt with them again they'd try and do better. WOULD ONLY USE AGAIN IF THEY HAD THE ONLY STOCK IN THE UNIVERSE.

I have used Thomann on about 5 occasions. Each time, the delivery was within a few days - BRILL. Had one order when I realised I'd asked for the wrong kit. Emailed half hour later & got confirmation that the order had been updated. Only one occasion when a "for info" email went unanswered. Otherwise, they cannot be faulted. Great for price - as others, half the UK price even when postage is added. Good selection, on-time, A1 condition. etc. etc. Never had a prob with out-of-stock items.

Thomann are an amazingly good store. Over the years i have bought everything from thomann from 3 electric guitars 3 basses an electric drumkit to pa equipment. the items (of which are in stock) will arive in around 4 days. another good thing about thomann is postage. it is a small fee...........FOR AS MANY ITEMS AS YOU WANT!!!!! A******

First time with Thomann.Ordered a Seymour Duncan Pickup Set.Good price and very fast deliviery but INCORRECT goods sent.Return Form enclosed with goods but it can be very expensive and slow to returning goods.Lets see how they perform regarding a replacement before I decide if I will use again.Rating therefore is poor and dissapointing.

Great prices, simple ordering process, good communications and order delivered at least two days earlier than I hoped it would be. I've used them several times and have always been surprised how quick they can turn an order round. (Presuming the item is in stock)So far I've bought a Boss Dr880. Tascam Cdrw750 and various pickups and have been more than happy with their prices and service.

Update on the BEX-4C saga. Still waiting for it 3.5 months on (ordered on 01 October). Now I'm told it won't be at Thomann until 31 Jan - they're waiting for the 'banana boat' from Japan. Surely they could get a few put on a plane?! And what about such a basic inventory mechanism as re-order level, haven't they yet heard of that? What a shower!!

I ordered an Ibanez M100C guitar case from thomann through their website and was absolutley amazed when the goods arrived through the door a day and a half later. The price and quality of the case was Excellent and as I say the speed of delivery was outstanding. I would recommend using this company to anyone.

i ordered my epiphone sg400 with maestro on the 22 of december it came in 4 days to the uk that is super fast delivery over xmas. the guitar was in mint condition i carnt say nething bad bout this company at all. and the best bit it is hlf the price that it is in the UK a bargin to. I would buy any time of this company the guitar was even in tune when i played it keep up the mint work people A++++++++++ SERVICE

Recently ordered a bass guitar and 40 watt amp from their own brand (Harley Benton) I believe the guitar is made in the same factory as Shine guitars. The guitar and amp are both excellent value and the guitar plays as well as guitars that I have tried at 3 times the price. The goods arived from Germany within two working days (not sure how they managed that one). British companys could learn a heap from Thomann's example, really good service, answered emails promptly, etc. Well done.

The delivery was awesome i ordered my Epiphone ltd edt sg-400 guitar on the 22nd and it was here by the 29 that very fast over the christmas time. The costomer service was also very good and reliable. I found the product almost half the price that i would of paid in the UK. I would recommend this store to ANYONE its mega awesome. The product also cam with everything that i was hopeing for and it was in mint condition no worrys what so ever

This company cannot be faulted. Excellent service from start to finished. Required extra evidence for credit card payments which was re-assuring. Email support prior to buying excellent, delivery within days as promised. Overall i have saved over £250 in the deal in comparison to Uk retailers. Visit their web site before ordering for re-assurance, you'll get the produts and save big time!

I recently ordered a BC Rich electric guitar for my sons Birthday for less than half the retail price and it arrived on my door (from Germany) within 5 days. The guitar was in perfect condition on arrival and I can only praise Thomann for the excellent service we received. I would say that I had difficulty trying to contact them by phone, but the e-mail response was very quick.

I ordered a Yamaha BEX-4C bass guitar on 01 October 2005 which was shown as being on 2-5 day order time into stock. This was the secondary factor in my decision to order, the primary factor being the competitive price. However, I am told that the guitar will not be in stock until mid-December, and then it still has to be shipped from Germany to me in the UK. So I doubt I'll see it before Christmas. Three months delivery when it should have been something like 2-3 weeks is not good.
