Pros: Powercordless, light weight
Cons: little bit slow with some noise, bad software package
The Bottom Line: Cheap, light weight, durable and cordless, get one for home for special use for tax doc archiving or photos.

Great Cheap Scanner

Pros: Cheap. Good quality.  Held up better than expected. Flatbed!
Cons: Low-end software.  Platen too small for legal paper.
Review: Purchased the Canoscan LiDE 25 scanner in early 2008 to transfer photos and paper files to disk.  Paid less than $50 new and created about 500 files in the first two months.  It has performed flawlessly and is still working fine.  Am ...
