Worth the money?

by   kristen__ ,  Aug 12, 2008
Pros: Large touchscreen, easy to use, takes great pictures, fun features.
Cons: Screen gets smudgy if you use fingers, battery drains quickly when taking pictures often.
The Bottom Line: If you want an above-average quality digital camera that takes great pictures, this is for you. It's great.
Review: Let's start off by saying that I'm a picky teenage girl. I wanted a camera that was very nice and one of the requirements for this camera was a large screen. I found the Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 online and fell in love. I admit, I didn't do much research ...

Good for the Rest of us

by   gooner41 ,  Apr 30, 2008
Pros: Compact, huge touchscreen LED screen, different colors available.
Cons: Menus and controls could be much more user friendly and picture quality seems inconsistent
Review: I bought this as an early x-mas gift for the girlfriend (in October/November). She tends to misplace things so having a bright red camera was a definite plus. It's a solid camera and one of the first to feature the fully touch screen interface. Although ...

Good all around camera - Great for the price

by   malberts78 ,  Apr 1, 2008
Pros: Great zoom, fairly small body, manual controls, very good battery life.
Cons: only average portrait pictures
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this camera to most people looking for a great price on a very good camera.
Review: I bought this camera as a take anywhere camera. It was a great deal at office depot for just over $200. I looked at a couple sony camera and the canon S5. The S5 and one of the sony cameras where to big. The canon just looked better than the compact ...

Pros: Looks nice, performance, features, HDTV output, optical stabilization, cool touchscreen
Cons: Proprietary memory format, price, touchscreen
The Bottom Line: The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T200 is a good choice if you want a ultra-compact, cool yet capable camera with 8-Megapixel resolution, 5x optical zoom with...
Review: The new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T200 is very similar to the previous model (S ony T100), but features some important improvements. Always expensive, Sony T-line cameras have historically been stylish and produced good ...

No Regard

by   peterwon ,  Feb 13, 2008
Pros: 10X Zoom, Manual Controls, Size, Cost, Look
Cons: personally none
Review: This camera can not beat other camera in any individual feature, but no other camera can beat all features of this camera. More about the battery: using AA battery seems like a "hate" or "like" feeling as personal preference. It is the same logic as ...

Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital

by   usman31 ,  Feb 13, 2008
Pros: The touch screen control function is logical and camera setting is very good.
Cons: The price seems a little high.Auto white balance in Program is poor
The Bottom Line: The Sony T200 is a perplexing camera. Those who buy it as a fashion accessory with the latest in gimmickry will probably love it.
Review: The T200 has camera with an 8.0 MP sensor and a 5x zoom, 35-175mm film. The optics are folded within the body. Only external controls are power switch, image view and zoom button. All controls are reached through the touch screen. The screen is 8.8cm ...

The 40D is not an upgrade, it is a baby 1D.

by   magic_puzzle ,  Jan 29, 2008
Pros: Fast, sharp, very flexible, intuitive and very good at handling all situations.
Cons: None that come to mind, it's a beauty.
The Bottom Line: The 40D is a great step up from previous incarnations and gives you everything ambitious photographers needs to raise their skill to near professional level.
Review: I purchased this camera almost two months ago it has more than lived up to its hype. This little jewel is destined for greatness and will be sitting in a lot of professional camera bags as a back-up, if not primary body. Most people see it as an ...

Canon EOS 40D nice but......

by   cornbreed ,  Jan 25, 2008
Pros: Decent value since the price dropped $ 145.00 right after Christmas .
Cons: Image quality not up to the hype of media reviews .
The Bottom Line: Despite glowing reviews overall picture quality is not better than Canon 20D
Review: First let me say that I recommend this camera if you are making your first digital SLR purchase , especially if you already have Canon lenses . The price to image quality ratio is in your favor .Also check out the Nikon D200 if you are just starting out ...

SX100 IS - Great outdoors, slow flash cycle time& VERY slow first flash shot time

by   consumerdude ,  Jan 8, 2008
Pros: Excellent construction, great pictures, nice color depth, intuitive menus, 10 shot self timer
Cons: agonizingly slow first flash shot, features taken out that seem more driven by marketing
The Bottom Line: Good camera for beginners and intermediates. Not great camera for indoor flash snapshots of kids. Missing features leaves me wishing Canon had not deleted these.
Review: I'm not sure what epinions has done, but they've completely corrupted their database.  This review is for the Canon SX100 IS.I love the camera. Because the camera is so excellent, the relatively minor deficiencies really stand out. If I ...

by   Jickybob ,  Dec 20, 2007
Pros: Quality, Ease of Use, Size, Video Capability, Built in Lense cover & Flash, ISO Speed
Cons: No viewfinder, lack of knowledge of camera user (me!)
The Bottom Line: Why go SLR when you can have the Canon SX100IS! Perfect, no complaints! Go for it and you won't be dissappointed!
Review: Okay, the story goes like this... I am a huge researcher when it comes to making large purchases (and yes, I consider this a large purchase) and making sure I get a good deal and/or product! I research through many different outlets including here, ...
